catherin Catherine has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years. As a former dancer, she was drawn to the precision and focus of pilates and began studying Fletcher pilates while earning her BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona. Catherine is a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher, a PMA-CPT, and Fletcher Faculty for the Fletcher Pilates® PRogram of Study at the Northern California Educational Center. She has taught numerous workshops and been invited to present and teach at national conferences. In addition, she is a Z-Health Performance certified trainer (R,I,S,T levels) and enjoys coaching athletes to improve performance levels and help clients reduce pain. Catherine is the owner of Studio 4 Pilates and director of the teacher education program
Kerri Boroos is originally from Denver, but has lived in Half Moon Bay for the past seventeen years. She is certified in Z-Health Performance Solutions(R) - ERIST , 9S Strength and Suppleness;  and is a Qualified Teacher of the The Ron Fletcher Work(R)  for Pilates. Her Pilates teaching background goes back nearly 9 years with Studio 4. She began studying Pilates while recovering from an injury and the work has helped her continue to golf and sail on a competetive level. She holds a BA in marketing from the University of Denver in Marketing.
christy Christy Crowley is a transplant to the Bay Area from Tucson, Arizona were she received her BFA in dance from the University of Arizona. While in Tucson she completed the Fletcher Pilates® Comprehensive Program at Body Works Studio. As a dancer and lifelong mover, she has a keen eye for precision and alignment in movement and teaches challenging group classes and focused private sessions.
Linda Grace Frost is a multi-disciplined Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. Her most influential teachers are Judith Lasater, PT, PHD and Elise Miller in the Iyengar tradition and Deborah Koehn. She specializes in the therapeutic applications of yoga drawing from a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education, a former career as a body worker, and her work in prevention and rehabilitation of dance injuries. She has also designed pre-natal fitness programs and teaches folk dance with the Alfred Lord Tennyson Dancing and Literary Society. In addition to teaching yoga at Studio 4 Pilates, Linda Grace studies Yoga Movement with Gay White in Berkeley, sings soprano with the M'EarthTones and Threshold Choirs and leads community healing and celebratory rituals in the Dagara tradition.
David McMahan is a graduate of the dance programs at Orange Coast College and the University of Arizona. David has performed and taught for many years throughout Arizona, California and nationally, including  courses at California State University Long Beach and the University of Arizona. He has also performed and taught as an international guest artist in Canada, Japan and Italy. A graduate of the Fletcher Pilates Comprehensive Program, David has studied extensively under Kyria Sabin and Deborah Mendoza. He now serves as an Adjunct Faculty member and Special Projects Manager for the Fletcher Pilates Company. In March 2012, David was featured in the Pilates Style Magazine article 'Let's Get Vertical' with Kyria Sabin about the Fletcher Pilates Ped-i-Pul. He has been honored to teach at both the 2011 and 2013 Fletcher Pilates International Conferences in Tucson, Az. David teaches the Pilates work in hopes to empower his clients to reach their full movement potential and become fully in-tune with what their own bodies can do from a place of control and strength.
Allison Dobbrow began studying Pilates over a decade ago to complement her running and cycling and to increase flexibility, core strength and improve alignment.  After experiencing firsthand the rehabilitative effects and universal benefits of Pilates, she completed The Fletcher Pilates Comprehensive Program in 2011 to become a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher.  Allison's eclectic background (she practiced law for 10 years before getting her teaching credential and working in the local schools) contributes to her precise and thorough teaching style.  She has two children in college and loves the active lifestyle here in Half Moon Bay.
Susie Whipp joined the Studio 4 Pilates staff in September of 2008. Susie qualified as an instructor from the Ron Fletcher Program of Study through Studio 4 Pilates in Half Moon Bay and earned her full Pilates certification from the PMA. She earned Z Health certifications in E, R, I, S, and 9S Strength and Suppleness and T Phase in the Fall of 2012. A long-time Dance professional, Susie concurrently teaches Pilates and Dance in the Dance BA Program in the School of Music and Dance at San Francisco State University. Her BS, MA, and MFA degrees were granted from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
